LIT CRI '13
Literature and Urban Space
Literature today, survives in a rich, wide and chaotic space in relation
with increasing communication utilities, new digital channels, increased
creative writing efforts, intensive translation activities, effect of big
media, rewards and activities.
The changing urban characteristics of the earth play an important role in
the transformation of literature, too.
Which urban aspects 21th century literature contains, which characteristics
in terms of spatial narration are already obvious and which surprises hide the
first indications inside are the questions waiting for answers are the main questions
to be discussed.
LIT CRI '13 sets off for raising questions as well as searching for new answers
on the relation of city and fiction. The conference will tackle reciprocal
effects between architecture and fiction, whether they emerge in literary forms
related to visual narratives and urban culture. LIT CRI ‘13 will be arranged
between dates of 6-8 Nov, 2013 by DAKAM in the hostage of MSFAU.
